2 cups rolled oats
1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark chocolate)
½ cup peanut butter or almond butter
½ cup honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Prepare the pan:
Line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
Melt chocolate and peanut butter:
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and honey. Stir until smooth and fully combined. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Mix in oats:
Add rolled oats (and optional nuts or dried fruit) to the chocolate mixture. Stir until oats are fully coated.
Press into the pan:
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press firmly into an even layer.
Chill:
