Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 2 cups chopped seasonal vegetables (carrots, green beans, or corn work well)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. - Cook the Meat and Aromatics
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey with onions and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat if needed. - Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix the cooked meat, potatoes, seasonal vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, half of the cheese, and seasonings. Stir until everything is evenly coated. - Bake the Casserole
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the vegetables are tender. - Serve and Enjoy
