Why This Puzzle Is So Tricky

At first, your brain wants to do what it’s always done: count what you see literally. But many of these egg puzzles are designed to play with perception. Shadows, overlapping eggs, and the way eggs are drawn or photographed can make your eyes “invent” extra eggs or hide some completely.
