What is Texas Trash Dip?

Despite its name, there’s nothing “trashy” about this dip—except maybe the fact that it disappears so fast, you’ll wonder if your guests even used chips. Texas Trash Dip is a hot, baked bean dip made with refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, and a hearty blend of melted cheeses. Seasoned with taco spices and often topped with a layer of shredded cheese, it’s then baked until bubbly and golden.

Some versions include extras like green chiles, jalapeños, or ground beef, but the classic version is delicious in its simplicity.
